The idyllic and charming village of Elie, situated in the East Neuk of Fife has a spectacular sandy beach and offers wonderful views across the Firth of Forth towards the famous Bass Rock. Originally a fishing village, Elie, now attracts visitors all year round who come for the invigorating sea air, picturesque golf courses, scenic coastal walks, numerous watersports and delicious freshly caught seafood. Visiting Elie is like stepping back in time to the glorious days of childhood seaside holidays. You can check out the sociable and lively Ship Inn which has been a pub since 1838. Enjoy a drink in their "beer garden" which looks out onto the beautiful bay. We never tire of visiting Elie...definitely one of our favourite places in Scotland.
