Argyll and Bute is an area of outstanding natural beauty, rich in history and heritage, boasting a spectacular array of scenery from its string of off shore islands forming part of the Inner Hebrides to lush subtropical gardens warmed by the Gulf Stream, from remote peninsulas to deserted golden beaches, from magnificent mountain peaks to scenic harbour villages. There's something for everyone around here - coastal walks, nature and bird-watching, the full range of water-based activities, mesmerising and magical prehistoric sites, battle scarred castles and breathtaking views around every corner. We enjoyed stopping off to film a few clips of Asknish Bay which curves around to Arduaine Point.
