Argyll and Bute is a remote but spectacularly beautiful area in the west of Scotland. Characterised by lochs, mountains and sea the region is also home to a number of off shore islands forming part of the Inner Hebrides. The view of the noble mountain of Beinn Eunaich was worth stopping to film. We went on to visit the Kintraw Standing Stone, a 12ft tall monument which acts as a marker between two ruined cairns. Loch Melfort is a great place to escape to especially if you need a scenic picnic spot. Finally Innis Chonnell Castle, a 13th century castle which sits on an island on Loch Awe and was one of the earliest strongholds of the Clan Campbell.
